These delicious, 20 minute energy bites are so simple and delicious! They are no bake and super effortless to make and only require 5 ingredients: Rolled oats, almond butter, chocolate chips, raw honey, and ground flaxseed. Check out the recipe below!
These little energy balls will help you take on your day, and are really awesome on-the-go snacks. You can also add personal touches to your bites by adding yummy ingredients such as raisins, cranberries, or dried cherries for a delicious and sweet added flavor!
What you'll need:
- 1 cup Rolled Oats
- 1/2 cup Almond Butter (or substitute peanut butter)
- 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1/3 cup Raw Honey
- 1/4 cup Ground Flaxseed

Rolled Oats: These delicious grains are amongst the healthiest that earth has to offer. Rolled oats are gluten-free, and help lower blood sugar levels, as well as lower your risk of heart disease. They're also a great source of healthy carbs and fiber! Whole oats are rich in antioxidants, including avenanthramides, which have anti-inflammatory, anti-itch, anti-irritant activities. It is also known that finely ground oats help with skin care! You can use them in many products to help your skin glow.

Almond Butter: Not only is this spread delicious, but it's great for our bodies! Almond butter is a great source of calcium, copper, vitamin E, fiber, and healthy fats. Vitamin E is used to protect our cells from oxidative damage. It's an antioxidant, and there's about 4 milligrams of vitamin E per tablespoon. That's about 27% of your daily vitamin E requirements! It can also help prevent heart disease and heart attacks, improve artery health and reduce inflammation.
Chocolate Chips: For you chocolate lovers, good news! Chocolate can actually offer some health benefits to your bodies when eaten in moderation. Semi-sweet chocolate chips actually don't contain any milk at all (but definitely read the label beforehand because some manufacturers vary).
